Am I Eligible?
Who is eligible?
We are recruiting staff members at UC San Diego who work on the La Jolla campus and commute at least 2 days per week. We will check whether you meet other study criteria.
Why should I participate?
By participating, you will provide important information to help inform campus and public transit programs and policies that could improve health and access to jobs, healthcare and education. You will receive up to $150 as compensation for your time if you complete all the study assessments.
What will I be asked to do?
You will wear 2 small sensors for 1 week when you enroll in the study. You will wear the same devices again 1 year later and 2 years later. You will also complete surveys. There are no costs to participate, and you will be compensated for your time.
Want to learn more and see if you qualify?
If you are interested in learning more about the study, you can take a quick survey to see if you are eligible to participate. We are looking for staff who live in specific neighborhoods and meet other study criteria.
What will happen next?
If you choose to take the survey, we will check the information you provide and our staff will contact you either way to let you know if you are eligible to participate or not. If you are eligible, we will call to explain more about the study and answer your questions. Your decision to participate in this survey or in the future study is entirely voluntary and you can opt out at any time.
